A Brand for the Beach

Maurie and Eve was always a favorite brand on Instagram for me - I always had a cart full, and like many sites, never really pulled the trigger. I guess because the brand was new to me, I thought; how could it possibly look as good as it does in the images?

Quite frankly - I am a bit of a quality snob. I’d rather less clothing but higher quality - it feels better. Anyways… I pulled the trigger, and putting on these pants (with a contemporary price) I felt like a million buckaroos. The fabric was heavy, and not in a way that you feel like it’s weighing you down, but in a way that you feel like it’s sturdy enough to last many years. I also got a kimono top from them as well.

The brand has kind of a natural vibe, paying homage to earthy tones, oversized silhouettes, and matte fabric. There is nothing glam about it in the ultimate way of feeling down to earth… and completely reasonable.

Anyways, so pleasantly surprised by this brand.
