It’s all started with a bed. We spent so much time focusing on decorating the downstairs, time passed us enough where our “temporary” bed needed to be immediate replayed with something that can last. I spent a long time looking for “the one” but couldn’t find anything I liked; either it was too modern, too classic, or completely out of budget. I wanted something clean, that feels earthy but also current. So I decided I wanted a slipcover style. I spent a lot time looking for something that made sense & I finally found this bed from The Inside. It is the perfect style that could be an amazing foundation to merge the pieces I already have and anything else I want to add. I ordered a bunch of fabric samples which came super quick, and decided on a linen that blends to the color of the walls. After we installed the bed (super easy) I got to buying curtains, a rug, and a bench. Sometimes it just takes one piece to inspire you to tie together the room.
